What do you do?
Owner of Vanilla and promoter of the Climax, Fishtank and Fussy Pussy club events. Treasurer of the Village Business Association.

How did you get involved in Manchester Pride?
My best friend died from HIV I wanted to be involved in a project that supported the community, Pride seemed the obvious choice.

I was invited to join the board as I represent both the lesbian and business world.

How long have you been a Board member?
6 years! And still enjoying the commitment to deliver the best event possible.

What are your aspirations for Manchester Pride?
To continue to raise funds for HIV and local LGBT groups particularly small new projects, a platform to educate the World about us, to celebrate who and what we are in the 21st century.

I adore Manchester and am so proud to be a part of this year's festival, I'd like to see it maintain its position as Europe's favourite LGBT Pride.
