Manchester Pride ‘owned’ content (Facebook/Twitter/YouTube)

1. No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour.

2. Comments should be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing embarrassment or ill feeling to individuals.

3. No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.

4. No spamming or off-topic material. Please don't re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.

5. No advertising or promoting without the prior agreement of Manchester Pride. URLs (web site addresses) can only be posted if relevant, commercial website references may also be removed regardless of relevance

6. No impersonation.

7. No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names.

Manchester Pride supports the right to freedom of speech and welcomes feedback. We acknowledge that criticism of Manchester Pride the entity, and of the activities it organises, is as inevitable as the community it aims to serve is diverse.

However, our team – which comprises paid employees and volunteers – has the right to work without public criticism, harassment or bullying. This includes, but is not limited to, comments made online.

Personal criticism, attacks or harassment of Manchester Pride’s staff will not be tolerated.

Such incidents will be immediately reported to the website owner under the terms of its own rules with the most serious reported to the authorities.
