Hot Village and Manchester Pride would like to invite you to the Manchester Pride Dinner!

This fantastic event will raise money for the Manchester Pride Events Fund, a vital funding resource for local community groups in holding special events.

What is the event?

The event will be a celebration of Manchester Pride 2010, now in it's 20th year, and is a great chance to bring together the community for a fun charity fundraising evening.

Why are Hot Village and Manchester Pride holding a dinner?

The main purpose of the evening is to raise money for the Manchester Pride Events Fund. This is an initiative started in 2009 by Manchester Pride to raise the quality and diversity of events taking place throughout the 10 day festival, now Pride Fringe. Grants of up to £500 are available for individuals or groups to hold events over the Pride Fringe but as the fund is very limited, it means that the number of events that are funded is limited as well.

Hot Village and Manchester Pride are dedicated to the expansion of this fund and the support of community involvement over Pride in the run up to the Big Weekend. The dinner will raise funds for the Events Fund allowing Manchester Pride to support more applications from the community for fringe events taking place in 2011.

And the money raised goes directly back into the community?

All money raised during the evening will go directly into this fund and therefore directly back into our vibrant local LGBT community.
