Manchester Pride 2009

The must-have accessory for 2009 was definitely the umbrella - the bigger and brighter the better! Despite the rain, the village was packed over the Big Weekend with capacity crowds having a soggy shimmy to great performances.

With a bigger parade and more community and culture events than ever, Manchester Pride 2009 really raised the bar, despite the falling heavens
