Manchester Pride 2009

The must-have accessory for 2009 was definitely the umbrella - the bigger and brighter the better! Despite the rain, the village was packed over the Big Weekend with capacity crowds having a soggy shimmy to great performances.

With a bigger parade and more community and culture events than ever, Manchester Pride 2009 really raised the bar, despite the falling heavens

The Manchester Pride Community Fund is back for 2009 and will be open for LGBT community groups to apply for funding - full details coming soon
