It's Alive

The young people from Lesbian and Gay Youth Manchester took over the Whitworth Art Gallery on Saturday 22 August with this playful and provocative live art event.

Join us for a journey through the wardrobe: sweet-smelling cheese will lead the way. Move and listen carefully. This live art event will showcase costumes, audio and installation made by LGYM participants. Our idea emerged from discussions about what "live art" is or can be, and random conversations about one man's obsession with cheese.
