Put on an event

There's much more to Manchester Pride than the Big Weekend and, since 2003, the festival has spanned a full ten days with a series of art, culture, heritage, politics, sport, music and film events celebrating the great diversity of the LGBT community in the run up to the Big Weekend party. Now's your chance to put on an event during what we call Pride Fringe

For Manchester Pride 2010, we'd like to showcase more aspects of our community than ever before and we welcome both commercial and community-based groups who want to hold events over Manchester Pride 2010.

The dates for this years festival are the 20-30 August 2010 (Big Weekend 27-30 August 2010).

Community Events Fund

In 2009, Manchester Pride were delighted to announce the introduction of a new grant scheme allowing individuals or organisations to apply for up to £500 to put towards placing an event over the festival.

Applications for a grant are closed for 2010. Please check back again in early 2011.
