Put on an event

There's much more to Manchester Pride than the Big Weekend and, since 2003, the festival has spanned a full ten days with a series of art, culture, heritage, politics, sport, music and film events celebrating the great diversity of the LGBT community in the run up to the Big Weekend party. Now's your chance to put on an event during the Pride Fringe

Event Listings

For Manchester Pride 2012, we'd like to showcase more aspects of our community than ever before and we encourage both commercial and community-based groups to hold events over Manchester Pride 2012 as part of the celebrations.

If you would like to hold an event during the Pride Fringe or over the Big Weekend in 2012, download and complete the Event Application Form.

Forms should be completed and returned no later than Friday 11 May to be considered for inclusion in the Pride Fringe Brochure and no later than Friday 20 July to be considered for inclusion in the Big Weekend Guide.

FRINGE EVENTS Fund

In 2009, Manchester Pride were delighted to announce the introduction of a new grant scheme allowing individuals or organisations to apply for up to £500 to put towards placing an event over the festival.

In 2011, over a third of events were made possible through the Fringe Events fund.

Grant Applications for 2012 are now closed.
