BIG WEEKEND CREW

The role of the Big Weekend Crew (BWC) is critical to the success of the Festival; they are advocates for our work, and support what we do. They are responsible for looking after and being of service to our most valued asset - our audience.

The main responsibilities for the Big Weekend Crew include:

• Help to co-ordinate the smooth delivery of Manchester Pride Big Weekend
• Promote and publicise activities and events
• Undertake market research
• Provide visitors with information on the Festival and facilities
• Manage queuing systems, usher visitors and prevent bottlenecks or blockages around the box office
• Maintain information points if appropriate

Required between 22 - 25 August.

PLEASE NOTE
Big Weekend volunteers will need to agree to work a minimum number of hours within a shift pattern. You are not required to work every day of the weekend, but you will only have access to the event site on days of working.

Neither volunteers nor Manchester Pride staff are offered complimentary tickets to the Big Weekend, as proceeds from ticket sales go to charity
