Always within the arts and culture section - I have volunteered for an arts festival in Chester and at the box office of a multi-cultural theatre event.

Meeting loads of new people and seeing results from my hard work

Through friends and then further research online

How has volunteering benefited your personal development?
It has helped me to be even more sociable by meeting lots of different people from every walk of life!

How has volunteering benefited your professional development?
It has enable me to increase my knowledge of event management and develop skills that were learnt in university

Would you recommend volunteering for Manchester Pride?
Definately - and have already done so to a few friends

Meeting Nadia from Big Brother and helping her back stage - a really lovely woman.
