Did you attend Manchester Pride 2008?

Respondents were asked if they attended any part of Manchester Pride 2008 including the Big Weekend and any other "ten day" events.

This question was the only mandatory response in the survey and 93.1% of respondents said they did attend Manchester Pride 2008.

A large proportion of respondents answered "Other" and the overwhelming majority of these answered that they had attended previously or every year.

The majority of respondents who answered "Website" gave an answer of manchesterpride.com.

For those who answered "Magazine", Out Northwest was the most popular answer (8) followed by Diva (5), Attitude (2) and Bent (2). One respondent named the Manchester Evening News.

Why did you not attend Manchester Pride 2008?

Of those who said they did not attend the festival:

• 25 gave a specific and unique reason
• 12 were working, on holiday or otherwise were unable to attend
• 11 were unable to afford the ticket price
• 3 did not have anyone to go with
• 2 did not have anywhere to stay in Manchester
