WHO WE ARE
Manchester Pride campaigns for the advancement of LGBT+ equality; celebrates LGBT+ life and creates opportunities that engage LGBT+ people so that they can thrive.
As one of the leading LGBT+ charities in the UK, our work aims to challenge discrimination in relation to homophobia, biphobia and transphobia and through our grant-giving, we support, enrich and empower LGBT+ community groups, events and causes in Greater Manchester.
We fundraise by staging a number of events throughout the year, including the award winning Manchester Pride Festival, The Manchester Pride Spring Benefit, events recognising International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) and our year-round programme of culture, Superbia.
Since 2003, we have raised and distributed over £1.5million.
THE MANCHESTER PRIDE FESTIVAL
The Manchester Pride Festival takes place in the heart of Manchester's city centre and is an award winning four day event celebrating LGBT+ life. The Festival is Manchester Pride's flagship event and consists of four elements: The Big Weekend, The Manchester Pride Parade, The Candlelit Vigil and The Superbia Weekend.
THE SPRING BENEFIT
The Manchester Pride Spring Benefit stands out as the 'must-attend' event in the North West's annual social calendar, bringing together business leaders, community champions and the world of celebrity for an evening of red carpet, black-tie glamour.
Explore the Disney® Parks and party the night away with new found friends in the bars and clubs in Disney Village®. A Farewell Breakfast rounds off the weekend where you can reminisce and reflect on your time at Pride, all whilst being greeted by some of Disney's most beloved Characters.
