Charity Fundraising

Manchester Pride has traditionally been a fundraiser for local HIV and LGBT communities and is the only Pride event in the UK which has consistently done so.

These pages are dedicated to the people that you've helped over the years.

Is it a fundraising event?

Since 2003, Manchester Pride has raised over £895,000 and, in 2010, Pride raised a staggering £115,000. This money was split equally between the LGF Condom and Lube Scheme, the GHT Welfare Fund, the Pride Community Grant and the Pride HIV Fund.

For a full breakdown of where the charity money comes from, please visit the financial breakdown page.

By giving your support to Manchester Pride, you're helping a great range of charities and community groups around Greater Manchester. Many couldn't exist without your contributions from attending the Big Weekend and by giving to the donation buckets through the year.

On behalf of the people and communities that you've helped, we'd like to thank you.
