Manchester Pride’s Community Sessions aim to platform issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community by bringing together professionals, those with lived experience and members of the community to learn, discuss, share resources and celebrate the diverse LGBTQ+ community that makes Manchester a brilliant place to live.
This month we invite Queer Muslims of Manchester and House of Rainbow to lead a discussion on how we can celebrate, platform and support LGBTQ+ people of faith. Come to participate in expert-led discussions, hear first-hand experiences, connect with other attendees and learn about unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ people of faith, identifying strategies to offer support.
This is an important opportunity to engage with an often marginalised community and learn about ways we can all work towards creating a more inclusive and supportive society. Whether you identify as LGBTQ+, a person of faith, an ally, a community leader, or an advocate, your presence and participation are valued.
